NEW GENERATION MONTH CELEBRATION

Theme:

WALA NA SANG IBAN PA…IKAW NA!

September is New Generations Month.

Our youth are tomorrow’s leaders. Rotary Club of Roxas hopes to provide our young people access to resources, information, and individuals who truly care about their growth and development as positive, productive, participating people, likewise, to become responsive citizens of our country.

Through the celebration of NEW GENERATIONS MONTH, Rotarians can "make a friend" with a younger person – and foster the development of attitudes and skills for a life of service leadership, community engagement, and civic responsibility.

We will present thru this program that Rotary is also a youthful organization. RI President Carl-Wilhelm Stenhammar wrote in the current issue of The Rotarian that "We could just as well call September the month of our future, because investing in our youth is our future."

Rotary Club of Roxas, for the purpose of carrying the celebration for the youth, we proposed the celebration by inviting a young leader speakers who will provide inspiration and motivation to fellow young leaders of today’s generations. The program will be an opportunities of understanding, friendship, camaraderie and fun-learning activity for them.

The program and topic is designed in relations to Rotary’s International theme: THE FUTURE OF ROTARY IS IN YOUR HANDS, as suggested by District 3850.

The program objectives are the following:

To demonstrate the objects and ideals of Rotary to the young leaders.

To encourage initiative of leadership and motivations for the young leaders of our community and concerns for fellow youths.

To provide an effective training design to selected and potential young leaders of today’s generation.

To carry out the celebration of NEW GENERATIONS MONTH in relation to R.I. International Theme: THE FUTURE OF ROTARY IS IN OUR HANDS.
