Match Club with RC Forbes Park, D3830

RC Rotary Club of Forbes Park, D3810 is our new sister club for RY 2009-2010. To give you a brief background, the club was formed by a group of civic minded citizens who believed that it was time to make a difference in their community. This challenge resulted in the chartering of RC Makati Forbes Park on Feb. 21, 1997 at the District Conference 3810 at the Philippine International Convention Center {PICC} during the term of DG Willy L. Segovia. Starting with 29 chartered members and determined to improve the welfare of the people within their community, a new Rotary Club was formed under the leadership of Charter Pres. Alex J. Ledesma. This was achieved through the efforts of our mother club of the Rotary Club of Makati West during the term of Pres. Vic Lim assisted by their past president Noel Laman.

The name MOVERS was adopted to reflect a unified effort that the services of RC Forbes Park to the community should be provided in one swift collective activity with effective and efficient programs and projects attaining positive impact, action and end result.

For the past twelve years, the members continued to combine their efforts and resources to reach out and implement a range of highly effective community based activities such as:

Today, RC Forbes Park is composed of forty members, everyone committed to fulfill and contribute to the Rotary Motto "SERVICE ABOVE SELF."
