GG TURN OVER AND FRIENDSHIP AGREEMENT

Last July 21, 2017, another Memorandum of Understanding was signed at CRAAHS, Banica, Roxas City for the 2nd Phase Tools and Equipment for EIM, Cookery and EPAS between Pres. Megs S. Lunn of Rotary Club of Roxas, D3850, Pres. Seongkeun Choi of Rotary Club of Chungju Juwan, D3750 and Mr. Rodrigo Jeremias, Jr.,  Secondary School Principal IV of CRAAHS as the cooperating organization. It was witnessed by the Department of Education, Division of Roxas City, Rotarians, students and other stakeholders.


The global grant is thru the generous assistance and donations of the Rotary Club of Roxas, D3850 and about 10 international partners Rotary Clubs in D3740  Republic of Korea and The Rotary Foundation.

RC Chungju Juwan was in Roxas City simultaneously to attend the 54th Induction and Turn-Over Ceremonies of RC Roxas the same day. During the induction, the two clubs formed Friendship Agreement in furtherance of their long-time committment to Making A Difference thru Rotary. The signing was witnessed by no other than Governor Jundad Legislador (RY 2017-2018) and PDG Mark Ortiz. The friendship was forged thru the hard work of new Rotarian member and Intl Service Helen Kim and Mark Jeong of RC Zamboanga North. 

This global grant project aims to support the K-12 educational system of the Philippines of which CRAAHS for the third time is a recipient of this goodwill from the Rotarians and The Rotary Foundation.

PP Ed Escano of RC Forbes Park was also present during the whole event. RC Forbes Park is the sister club of RC Roxas for almost 8 years now and with a long-time partnership on Project W.A.L.K (Wishes of Aid and Limbs for Kids) and Rotary Operation Taghoy around the Philippines.

Rotarians give regularly to The Rotary Foundation. It helps fuel their service projects that improve developing communities, as well as promote peace and understanding, goodwill and friendship. It also helps achieve its life-changing humanitarian and educational projects and most significantly, eradicate polio as one of the very important mission of Rotary International.
