ROTARY AND MILO MARATHON

D3850 Governor, Edgar Sy made a difference during the 33RD NATIONAL MILO MARATHON hosted by our club, RC Roxas - August 16, 2009.

DG Edgar, together with our members has to be at the venue as early as 3am and the game started at 5:30 am with over than 5,000 young kids and adult alike runners. Milo Marathon theme: KAYA MO YAN was a motivation for this young kids to engage in sports and hope to grow up disciplined in all the endeavors ahead of them.

An inspiring attendance of the club showed a big support to the event, too...What with all the volunteers around in Roxas to help out made the event more significant. Likewise, DG Edgar has to do the first shot to signal the start of the run. It was an exciting moment for all of us. Even DG Edgar was so excited that he never missed the winners at the finish line. {Names of winners to be posted soon}.

Cheering squads competition were an added fun to the program and our sunday was filled with so much blessings from MILO.

In behalf of P. Pip and the rest of the members of our club, your presence MADE A DIFFERENCE in all of us. You were the 1st ever DISTRICT 3850 GOVERNOR who graced this occassion since the club started this many years ago.

Truly, you are an inspiration to us all. Thank you for the untiring efforts of gracing our events many times now since the start of this Rotary year 2009-
2010.

We look forward to seeing you again.
