May 6, 2017 --- Rotaractors and Interactors from Antique,
Aklan, Iloilo, Capiz and Negros came together for their District Training
Assembly held in Hercor College Main Campus, Roxas City, Capiz. This was the first DISTAS to be held in Capiz
and it was made possible with the leadership of the Rotary Club of Roxas and
the Hercor College Rotaract Club a.k.a HeRo Club.

Incoming
Presidents, Vice Presidents, Secretaries and Treasurers were welcomed warmly
and the event promptly started. It was
heartwarming to also welcome Rotarians who came to chaperone their youths to
the event. At the helm were DRR Dennis
Pedrosa, DRRE Ron Villanueva and DRAR Elyrose Naorbe. The forum was privileged to hear inspiring
words of change and wisdom from Incoming Governor Jundad Legislador, Past
District Governor Mark Anthony Ortiz and Past President and RAC Mentor PP Chris
Sorongon.
This year,
the officers were once again briefed on the history of Rotary, Rotaract, Interact
and how we are all molded together with a bond that has ignited much change and
will continue to be so. Emphasis on
Public Image and the influencing role it plays in our society and community
today. Branding must also be established
and easily adaptable to the change that has come in order for us to indeed
pursue the change we set out in motion.

With much
vigor and inspiration, it is indeed the time to make a difference and to do so
greatly.
