PP Megs Lunn (Roxas) led the RFE Outbound 2015 to Wisconsin, USA from Sept. 14-26, 2015. The team members were IPP Chris Sorongon (RC Bacolod), IPP Liberty (& hubby Conrad) (RC Iloilo South) and PP Elma Magbanua (RC Central Iloilo City). The clubs they visited in Wisconsin were: RC Fort Atkinson, RC Jefferson, RC Madison West-Towned, RC La Crosse Valley View and RC Marshfield - all at Wiscosin State, USA. Other itineraries included were visiting different Rotary projects in the area and knowing the culture by touring in between Rotary clubs visits like visiting universities, handicapped centers, banks, police department, hospitals and research centers, farms, cheese dairy, municipal office, libraries, media, chambers, homeless for the shelters, market, etc.
Last January 9-12, 2015, same team hosted the RFE Inbound from Wisconsin, USA wth six (6) team members led by PP Darla Leck (with hubby Brian) of RC Marshfield, Wisconsin. Members were AG Mark, AG Edwin and son Ernest.
Rotary Frienship Exchange is an international exchange program for Rotarians and Rotary couples. It provides participants with the opportunity to experience other cultures by staying in the homes of Rotarians, visiting their clubs and participating in the lifestyle/activities of their communities.
The goals of the exchange are to advance international understanding and peace through visits across borders. To promote intercub relationships, fellowships and service projects. The Rotarians participating gain the opportunity to make long lasting frienships while exploring different areas of the world.
The photos here were the different presentation held by the team in the different Rotary club visits, including meeting with D5450 Governor Mary Van Hout and PDG Dave and PDG Dean of the RC Madison West-Towne, respectively. The club is home to Governors.
