The Navitas Fishermen's Cooperative was formed with the assistance of the Rotary Club of Manila last January 2014, in response to the great need of Barangay Navitas in the aftermath of Supertyphoon Haiyan for rehabilitation of their means of livelihood. Christine Chicombing, inspired by her father PDG Gelacio Chicombing (RY 1987-88), collected and donated the boxes of clothes from Texas; those are the last three boxes she sent our District last March 2014. 

The Sawyer water purifiers are part of the donation of Cadena Mexico to the Philippines which we received last November 2013 and have been demonstrating and distributing all over the Province; thanks PP Mel Deslate for facilitating. - PDG Mark Ortiz
